I wanted to find an affordable version of Dr. Martens leather lace-up leather boots, and I did! Dr. Martens boots have become really popular. Some people call them “docs” for short. They look cute with basically everything, and they’re black! The downfall is that they are usually around $150. If you can afford them, cheers to you! As for the rest of us, there’s no reason to break your bank when other brands can make a similar boot.

Madden Girl Kurrt Boot

Madden Girl, a well-known brand, has created a boot similar to Dr. Martens. These boots are the same size, and look almost identical, but they are only $59.99. That’s more than half the price!! One difference is that the Madden Girl stitching is visibly white, whereas Dr. Marten’s have visible yellow stitching. Personally, I love the white more.

More Differences + Save The Animals

Another difference is that the Madden Girl boots are lined on the inside with a soft fabric material. This was also a good selling point for me because I love cozy shoes. The last and final difference I noticed was that the Madden Girl Boots say “Faux Leather Upper”. I love faux leather, because I don’t see any reason in getting material from animals when factories can make fake leather that’s just as good. I really want to save the animals when it comes to fashion and beauty use, because I feel that it’s unnecessary in the advanced world we live in today.
