What Products Can I Use to Get Beachy Hair?
Have you ever seen girls at the beach who have perfect wavy, beachy hair? It isn’t fair that women are born with hair like this! I LOVE this look, and I am consistently trying to make my hair look like this in the summer. I think beachy hair is a stunning, sexy look for women. In this blog, I’ve broken down all of the products I use to get my beachy hair.
Products I Use:
- Heat Protectant
- Texture Spray
- Tiny Curling Iron or Waver
- Morrocan or Argan Oil
- Salt Spray
- Beach Rinse
Heat Protectant:
Chi Heat Protectant is my favorite, because it’s in a creamy form. I feel better about using cream heat protectants, because I know how much of the hair I am coating. When I’ve used a spray in the past, I get nervous that it doesn’t coat the whole strand.
Texture Spray
Texture spray or tousle spray adds volume or texture to my hair. When I get out of the shower, my hair is too soft to curl. I use this product to make my hair hold the curls better. It feels like I put dry shampoo and salt in my hair. It doesn’t leave that crunchy feeling in my hair as hairspray does. This one is my favorite!
Curling Tools
My all time favorite look is accomplished by using a tiny curling wand. The wand I use is Bellami, and it no longer exists. A waver is also fun to use! A waver is similar to a 3-barrel. The only difference is that the waver’s middle barrel is v-shaped rather than round. I think this makes the wave look more natural and less perfect.
Morrocan/Argan Oil
Oil helps tame the fly-aways and frizz in my hair. Buy this one, because it’s my favorite!
Salt Spray:
Not Your Mother’s Beach Spray is my favorite. This product can soften your curls and it can make your hair look more natural. The trick is putting it in the ends of your hair to soften the kinks.
Beach Rinse:
Beach Rinse is a brand new company that I am so excited about! I heard about Beach Rinse, because they asked me to be in their launch video(Check it out here), and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try out an all-natural product. I am so happy that I did, because it made my hair so BEACHY & CURLY, and the girl who founded it is the nicest human ever!
This product can be a body scrub or used in hair. I use my shampoo, then put a little handful of the sand-like product in my hair. I then rinse it out just enough to use a tiny bit of conditioner and still get the salty beachy hair effect. I love that it replicates the salty beaches and they smell amazing! My personal favorite is Dana Point because it smells like grapefruit and oranges. Check out the other scents they have and support this wonderful online company!
